Why Robin was the Sidekick

I came home today and noticed a bird flying straight at our living room window. At first I thought it was a typical idiot bird that crash landed, but when I pointed it out, Jeff said the robin had been attacking his reflection for the past hour.

Robin's face is hilarious.

I watched, and sure enough, the bird flew back at the window again, over and over. A few times, the dogs got interested and scared him away, but the dumb bird just came right back. He must've done it for two or three hours.

He sat on our yet-to-be-stacked woodpile and flew at the window with his little talons bared. He was convinced his reflection was another male robin trying to hone in on his territory. And that is why Robin was Batman's sidekick and not the star of the show.
