Snowed In

We got hit with a big blizzard this morning that turned our green land into ice land (ha). We haven't had this much snow since the 2010 Snowmageddon. Our roads are completely covered despite the snow plows scraping by every few hours.

The horses went outside for a few hours, but once it really started to come down, mom, Alexa and I went down and brought them in early. It's a good thing we did, too! The ones without blankets were covered in ice and started to melt like the wicked witch once they were back in their stalls.

After the horses were safely tucked away, we could actually appreciate the farm covered in beautiful white snow. The creek is halfway frozen and you can't see the roads at all. We even had a little trouble getting the car back up the road and spun in the snow for a minute or two.

We spent the rest of the evening drinking hot cocoa and watching DVD episodes of our favorite TV show. If you're snowed in like us, just relax and enjoy the day! Be safe on the roads!
