Barbara Ann's Country Shop

Yesterday was my wonderful momma duck's birthday. (That's my mom's nickname, we don't actually have a duck. Yet.) And I wanted to get her a present that she would really like, and not something that would just sit around the house.


My friend, Jayne, and I walked into Barbara Ann's Country Shop. They had a ton of cute decorations. They all had a cozy, cabin-like feel but nothing caught my eye as the perfect present for my mom. Until I saw the oil canvas painting of a piglet. It was just too cute to pass up, and mom LOVES playing with the babies at the barn. There was also a cow oil painting next to it, so I got them both for her and she loves them.

I gave her the presents at the barn--we don't have bars on our windows. ;)

I don't think Barbara Ann's is a franchise, but those readers who live around me should definitely check it out, and those of you who don't, try wandering into the nearest country shop. They all usually have a lot of great decorations that make nice gifts or additions.
