It's autumn for sure. The leaves have changed and are falling, the weather can't decide if it wants to be warm or chilly, and the ponies are growing thick, fluffy, winter coats. But just because summer is gone doesn't mean we can't still enjoy time outside or at the barn.
It seems like the leaves this year are extra bright. I love watching big oaks turn bright yellow, it's just so pretty. Normally I don't like fall because it means winter is on the way, but this year I'm really enjoying it. Trail rides through the woods are especially beautiful this time of year. Fire loves playing and hunting in the leaves, and the colors make for great pictures with the horses.
For now, I'll embrace the autumn season. Bonfires, sweatshirts, and Halloween decorations make good distractions from the chilly months to come.
What are you all enjoying this fall season?
